The Chariot Eye
Prophet Patrick Buwemba
_Familiarity part 2_
Ezekiel 33:30-33 "Son of man, your people talk about you in their houses and whisper about you at the doors. They say to each other, 'Come on, let's go hear the prophet tell us what the Lord is saying!' So my people come pretending to be sincere and sit before you. They listen to your words, but they have no intention of doing what you say. Their mouths are full of lustful words, and their hearts seek only after money. You are very entertaining to them, like someone who sings love songs with a beautiful voice or plays fine music on an instrument. They hear what you say, but they don't act on it! But when all these terrible things happen to them—as they certainly will—then they will know a prophet has been among them."
Do you want to know whether you have gotten used to God or your man of God, watch the way you respond to their words. How much instruction do you take in from your spiritual father?, and do you think if you can't listen to a man you see you will listen to Gods still small voice?
If you want to profit in the kingdom, cultivate the character of taking heed to what you hear. Meditation on the words you hear is important and putting into action what you hear will determine how far you will go.
Otherwise, the Bible says in James 1:22 that a man makes a fool of himself if he is only a hearer of the word and not one who takes it important to practice what he hears.
So dear brothers and sisters, today God wants to act on what you have heard from him. Many hear the word for entertainment but the word is more powerful than how you have received it. From today give value to the words you have received.
God give us the will to listen to your word and also do as it says
