Honoring our leaders

1 Timothy 5:17-19. Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.” Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses.

Being a minister for now ten years since 2009, I have learnt a lot among Christians and I have seen this evil that has killed many where there is lack of honor for those who labor among us.
Among the church members, are those that labor that we may know God through their teaching and the word and prayer.
But then I have discovered that the ones that are taught tend to get used to them and abuse their place. If he has ever taught you, never treat him as a friend for he is your teacher. The time you start calling your teacher by his name and make him a friend, is the time you will stop learning from him.

Many stop respecting their Papa's just because they had a negative rumor about their man of God. Now I want to open your mind to this truth, that your very test from God is about trust and loyalty.
You will always discover that weakness so that God, your heavenly father, can clearly show you how he can work in weakness.
But to many, they judge quickly and even run.
Double honor, is honor with two seals: honor for their labor in your life and honor for the fact that God chose them as vessels in this time for your sake.

A priest is chosen from among the believers meaning if you can see a man who is diligent in his work, you are looking at a man who will soon sit with kings.
it does not matter who says what but God is proud of your labor in the Gospel.

Lord our God help us to honor the men of God you have given us and separate us from misjudging their actions as though we are on their levels.
