The Chariot Eye

Prophet Patrick Buwemba
Revelation 3:14-20 "Write this letter to the angel of the church in Laodicea. This is the message from the one who is the Amen—the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's new creation: "I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, 'I am rich. I have everything I want. I don't need a thing!' And you don't realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see. I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. "Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.
This was a letter from Christ himself to the church in Laodicea. The church that he found lukewarm based on their deeds as they were "neither cold or hot." Lukewarm Christianity is detestable.
Being lukewarm is a state of complete irrelevance just like salt losing it's taste. Many people have covered their eyes, built walls around themselves and are unconcerned about the things of God and because of this, Christ rejects them for their failure to abide to his word by spitting them out of his mouth.
He prefers one to be either hot or cold because there he would know one's stand. The Laodeceans keep proclaiming that they are rich, yet to Christ they are poor, blind and naked as in *verse 17*. Many in the body of Christ are like this as they have taken their sight off Christ himself and they have sought material gain to seek approval in the sight of God and yet God is after our heart.
True Christianity demands complete commitment not half-half things as God wants all or nothing at all. God desires full communion with you.
Therefore get back your zeal, passion and enthusiasm for Christ and his gospel.
Father i invite and open up the door of my heart to dine with me.I pray that I may be zealous for your house
